Essential Functions:
Job purpose of Ambulatory Care Admission Supervisor is to assist the Patient Account Manager by overseeing the responsibilities of the Ambulatory Care Front Desk and Registration staff.
Ensuring that patients are being serviced in a professional and competent manner.
1).
Greets patients in a polite, prompt, professional and helpful manner.
2).
Provides management oversight for the registration and scheduling process to facilitate the collection of accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
3).
Establish quality control techniques to ensure that correct billing information is collected to produce and generate clean claim submission.
4).
Provide excellent customer service including problem solving, timely follow up, assisting in answering phones and scheduling appointments.
5).
Facilitate the preparation and submission of employee payroll.
6).
Able to perform the duties of Ambulatory Care Admission Coordinator.

Assist with data collection for CQI activities as designated by Director of Rehabilitation Services, Ambulatory Care Clinical Specialist, Clinical Manager.

PREREQUISITES:
1).
Associates Degree preferred.
2) Excellent communication and organization skills.
3) Proficent computer skills required.
4).
Strong Customer service orientation.
5) Strong knowledge of insurance practice for billing including Medicare, Mass Health, and all HMO's 6) Knowledge of growth and development across the life span.
