Responsibilities:
The Sr Systems Support Engineer will be implementing and troubleshooting our backup applications over predominantly Linux (RedHat) environments. Most of the work will be remote (with some on site), and you will be using your troubleshooting and problem solving skills to resolve installation and maintenance issues for customers. Specific duties may include:
provide remote support to customers, partners and field personnel
troubleshoot and maintain backup applications for customers
manage customer relations and escalations
develop and implement customer specific action plans
Qualifications:
5
years in Linux administration and maintenance
Experience with one or more backup applications (BackupExec, ARCserv, Netbackup, Galaxy, TSM, etc)
Strong troubleshooting abilities
Strong interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills
A plus if the candidate has experience with Windows and can script in Perl or Shell

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
