Inside Sales Specialist - Westborough, MA

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Responsible for closing new business from leadsgenerated through the Company's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. Responsible for customer care follow-up (billing/posting resolution, etc.) and service delivery coordination.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: include the following and other duties may be assigned as needed.


Follows up on in-bound leads generated through the CRM system or other company sources/systems. Makes direct calls to each potential customer to promote the company, create sales opportunities & close the lead over the phone.
Establishes and maintains relationships with potential customers during the life cycle of the lead. Builds trust and credibility with the customer.
Utilizes company systems (such as Navision, email, phones, etc.) to accurately enter orders, call prospects, and communicate with service delivery. Generates reports for management as requested.
Works with Sales to mail marketing materials to each potential customer. Passes leads to appropriate sales person (in customer's area) when necessary.
Contacts customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.
Makes cold calls during slow periods and participates in sales blitzes as assigned.
Special projects as assigned by the department manager.
SUPERVISORY Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 years experience in inside sales capacity handling customer relationships and prospecting leads and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional requirements include: basic phone selling/negotiation skills; excellent oral communication & listening skills; strong understanding of the Company's equipment, products & services; excellent planning, organizational, analytical and decision making skills; strong PC proficiency (data entry, Microsoft Office Suite, Navision, CRM, etc.);
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or standard operating procedures. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from customers or regulatory agencies.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate financial data including discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, etc. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of detailed instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Drivers License and proof of current automobile insurance.

The noise level in the office work environment is usually moderate. Employee is regularly exposed to air conditioning while working indoors and hot or cold conditions when working outdoors. This position requires employee to travel as needed.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
