My name is Zachary Pierce and I represent The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Closer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Westborough, MA. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Prepare closing documents accurately and issue to Closing Attorneys and/or Title Companies within agreed timescales and company standards
Identify incomplete files and return to loan processor for completion within agreed service level standards and pro-actively follow through to conclusion
Build relationships with third parties, brokers, and internally and deliver the highest levels of customer service at all times
Review and monitor files and escalate any issues or trends to manager and make recommendations for improvements as appropriate
Responsible for accurately selecting APR fees relevant to 'high cost' and making necessary changes to complete a saleable loan or escalate any issues to manager as appropriate
Approve final HUD1 settlement statement
Check settlement statement from attorney prior to closing and make any relevant changes or escalate to manager as appropriate
Quality check all mortgage files to ensure that all necessary documentation is accurately completed and all processes have been followed in line with company standards, the regulatory framework and documented procedures
Ensure that closing packages are accurately and efficiently generated across all mortgage products following the documented processes, regulatory framework and within agreed time-scales
Keep up to date with any Federal and State regulation changes and internal Company policies and procedures
Ensure accurate closing instructions and reconcile with final HUD1 settlement statement
Good understanding of Fannie/Freddie, FHA and Jumbo product lines
Mortgage processing experience desirable
Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
Results driven, self starter with great administration skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and proven ability to work in a fast paced changing environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good computer skills including word and excel
